How to use the OGam3r RSS Reader

Installation

Run the installer. Follow the prompts, accept the license agreement. If you have trouble with this, you shouldn't even be playing OGame.

Running the OGam3r RSS Reader

Right, first thing is first. Run the OGam3r RSS Reader, you can find it under the Start Menu (and if you chose to add, an icon on the desktop).
Enter your username and password into the boxes at the bottom left. To get the RSS link, you need to activate RSS feeds within the OGame Options page, and then copy the link it gives you.

If you want, you can save your username and RSS link for future sessions by pressing the 'save' button. Your password will NEVER be saved.
Then, go ahead and click the 'Start' button, or for you really hardcore users, use the 'File' Menu. Yeah, didn't that feel good?

Now, in the background, the OGam3r RSS Reader is checking the detection status of the program. If Gameforge decides that this is illegal, and they figure out how to detect this (unlikely), then I can report the OGam3r RSS Reader as "detected". If it has been detected, the OGam3r RSS Reader will give you an choice of aborting the run, or charging forwards.

Assuming you chose to continue, or no message appeared, the OGam3r RSS Reader will now download your inbox, parse the messages, output the important stuff, colorise it, count the messages and then beep at you. If none of this happened, you have no messages (feel unloved here). If it did, you might have been attacked (feel unloved here). Anyway, this genious little bastard did all of this in the blink of an eye (or a bit slower, depending on your internet connection).

What do I do now, doc?

Login to your OGame account. Move a fleet to a suitable location for ninja'ing an attack on another portion of your fleet. Then, clear your inbox, log out, and get a 1.5L bottle of Coke. You are going to need it. Now, run the OGam3r RSS Reader. Drink that bottle of Coke (or play CounterStrike Source if you want, odds are you are about 5 years old). If you finish the bottle, bounce it off the far wall of your mother's basement. Anyway, turn your speakers up and keep an ear out for a beep. If you hear a klaxon, it isn't an air raid, and your mother's basement isn't preparing for a crash dive, so get out from under your desk and look at the espionage warning.

Now, login to OGame. Sure, this will create the activity warning on your home planet (*), but you were just espionaged, so the planet that was espionaged would have one too. So, hopefully the potential attacker will not know you are online. Wait for the incoming attack, and then time your ninja fleet to arrive a few seconds before theirs (there is a really 1337 ninja timer HERE).

Because the attacker will not know you are online, and your fleet was sitting out in galaxy 9 or somewhere, you can ninja, get the DF, and make yourself look cool on the forums.

I got banned / my ninja went wrong / I lost everything / I am posting you a bomb as soon as I can find an evelope large enough
