The OGam3r RSS Reader

Mission Overview

The OGam3r RSS Reader will retrieve your OGame messages every two minutes. If one of the messages is an espionage warning, or a battle report, it plays a loud klaxon siren. If there is another message, such as a fleet returning notification, or a personal message, they are output to the screen and an ping sound is played.



The original idea for this is so that you can leave your fleet as bait on a planet or moon, and play a game or go to sleep. Then, if you are espionaged, you wake up, log in and ninja the attacker. The best part, is that the OGam3r RSS reader does not cause the activity warning (*) over any of your planets.

Technical Information

As far as legality is concerned, this is a new program, and it is in a grey area of the OGame rules. They introduced the RSS feed, and all RSS feed reader's check the feed reguarly. However, none of them are OGame-designed to filter your messages, or play a siren on specific messages. Technically, this is not a bot, because it does not do anything to your game. YOU still have to get up and start the ninja.

However, knowing how annoying GameForge is, I have coded in a "detection status" feature. If I recieve confirmation that using this tool CAN get you banned, the tool will notify you of "unknown" or "detected" status, giving you a chance not to use the OGam3r RSS Reader.

This program will only work if you have commander!

It is very unlikely that you will get banned by using this tool, as I have obviously tested it myself. If you do get banned, it's your problem. I take no responsibility.

Acquire the Software

You purchase this program for three months, at the end of which it will expire. This is the length of the largest Commander purchase, so when one runs out the other will do so soon. Three months cost USD$10. This program works for windows only.
